Twelve services, built around your space

Georgios Maravas, agricultural technologist, oversees every project from the first visit to the latest maintenance round, all over Messinia.

Each service below has its own section. Six of them also have a dedicated page, for anyone who wants to read more before picking up the phone.

1. Garden design and planning

Before the first plant goes in, we look at what your soil can take and where the sun falls. The plan you receive shows the garden as it will be today and in five years’ time, with the plants at the size they will reach and the irrigation where it will be needed. So construction starts with answers, not questions.

2. Garden construction and maintenance

We build it from the ground up and stay on to look after it. Earthworks, planting, paving, irrigation, and then a maintenance programme at the pace the garden asks for. Because we have known it since day one, in its third year it looks just as it did on handover day.

3. Automatic irrigation systems

Each zone of the garden gets the water it needs, at the time the plant can use it. We design the network on top of the planting plan, install it with drippers and sprinklers wherever each one suits, and adjust it season by season. Less water in August, without you having to think about it.

4. Land and plot clearing

A clean plot before the municipality asks for it. We cut grass, brambles and dry vegetation, remove the debris and leave the site ready for fire prevention or for whatever you are planning next. Our machines reach slopes and dense growth, where hand tools give up.

5. Tree pruning and removal

We prune in the season the tree can take it, keeping its natural shape and helping it bear fruit. When a tree has to come down, we take it down in sections, safely for the roof, the cables and everything underneath. Olive trees, fruit trees, ornamentals and tall trees.

6. Lawns, turf or seed

Ready-made turf when the space has to be green tomorrow. Seed when there is time for roots that last for years. Either way, it starts with preparing the soil and choosing a variety that can survive a Messinian summer, because that is what decides whether the lawn is still green in August.

7. Courtyard and pool surround landscaping

Paving, low walls, paths and planting that tie the pool and the courtyard in with the house. We choose materials that stand up to the sun and to pool chemicals, and plants that keep the water clean, with no leaves or roots in the wrong places. One continuous space, not two separate pieces.

8. Planting and plant selection

Plants that grow here, with the water that is actually available. We choose species and varieties for the specific soil, the aspect and how often they will be watered, and plant them in the right season and at the right depth. So the garden gets through the summer with no replacements in September.

9. Plant protection

The agricultural technologist sees what is wrong with the plant and gives it the treatment it needs, while the problem is still small. Insects, fungi, nutrient deficiencies and wrong watering often look alike to the eye and need different treatment. Regular checks, targeted treatment and measured feeding.

10. Garden maintenance for hotels and business premises

A programme built around your season. Mowing, pruning, watering and clean-up at the times that disturb your guests the least, with one person in charge to call. The garden is at its best in the weeks you are busy, not in November.

11. Vertical gardens and green roofs

Greenery on walls, roof terraces and balconies, where there is no soil. Growing medium, waterproofing, drainage and irrigation designed for the weight and exposure of the building, with plants that can handle the wind and sun up high. It cools the building on its own and brings the summer bill down.

12. Water pump installation and repair

Steady pressure across the whole network. We choose the pump based on the water supply you have and the distance it needs to cover, install it with an expansion tank and protection, and repair pumps that have already seen better days. The last sprinkler gives out the same water as the first, even at the far end of the plot.
